Whatever it takes to get the job done” means that you are willing to roll up your sleeves, to get your hands dirty, to go the extra mile, and to go above and beyond the call of duty.

Whatever it takes” means that you know what the job is, you are a person of resolve, determination, and conviction.

You know what God wants done, and you have determined that with His help, to see the task accomplished with excellence.

How dedicated are you to the will of God? Are we willing to do whatever it takes to live our lives for Jesus? Do you truly desire to be used by Him as you live out your days on this earth?

Sometimes our lives are like that piggy banks that are full and cannot accept any additional savings. So full of errands, obligations and activities that neither nurture us nor help us, that there simply is no room left for what is truly important – additional savings

Most of us would say that they want the will of God because we know that it is what God wants to hear. But are you really willing to allow God to do Whatever It Takes to accomplish His will for your life?

If we are going to be people who do whatever it takes to be the people that God desires for us to be, we are going to have to go bank the money in the piggy Bank and make room for new savings.

What will it take for us as individuals to develop a “whatever it takes” attitude?

In Isaiah 50:6-7, the bible says: I gave My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting. For the Lord GOD will help Me; Therefore, I will not be disgraced; therefore I have set My face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.

Whatever it takes attitude started with the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus was determined to obey the Father, whatever it took. He was determined to rely upon the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, whatever it took. He was determined to give His life for us so that we could have eternal life, whatever it took.

The Bible talks of both God seeking us, and us seeking God. God will do whatever it takes to get our attention. He will do whatever it takes in our lives so that we will begin seeking Him for answers. The question is:

Will we do whatever it takes to find those answers?

When we possess a “whatever it takes” attitude, then we are not quick to be discouraged or to quit.

In 2 Chronicles 7:14, the bible says; If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land”

God has a plan, and He is determined to do whatever it takes to see that plan fulfilled. When we share His attitude and resolve, we can fully participate with Him and partner with Him in the fulfilling of His dreams and objectives.

Let us renew our commitment to do whatever it takes to let God be in control of our lives.
